JohnVBarnett.org runs for runforpaws.org and pawsofwar.org, I'm dedicated to helping Pawsofwar.org by running marathons across the country, all fifty states and the world when the fifty states are completed hopefully this year, December 2025. I will continue to run marathons although international marathons mostly.

I've been a runner most of my life starting in the Police Athletic League around ten years old. Bayside High School, four years of Cross Country 5K and four years of Track and Field events. Retired United States Navy Ship Navigator, Merchant Marine Specialty and Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department Detective.

I'll be running one to two marathons a month until I finish all fifty states then I will start doing marathons all over the world. Places like Lisbon Portugal, Dublin Ireland, Oslo Norway and other great marathon destinations. I hope people will pledge per month or a pledge per marathon. Hopefully finishing all fifty states this December
